Summary

This study aims to understand why bronchiectasis, a chronic lung disease, worsens over time. Researchers will collect sputum, stool, and blood samples from 150 adults and follow them for two years. By analyzing the microbes and chemicals in these samples, they hope to discover what drives disease progression and how common treatments like macrolide antibiotics work.
