Summary

This study tested a drug called brivaracetam to see if it can help people with long-term spinal cord injury who have severe nerve pain that other treatments haven't helped. 24 adults with spinal cord injury and daily pain rated 9 or 10 out of 10 took the drug or a placebo for 3 months. The goal was to see if the drug could lower pain and improve daily life.
