Summary
This study tests an enhanced smartphone app (ViraSafe) designed to help teenagers and young adults at risk for suicide engage with coping skills and safety plans. About 100 participants aged 13-24 who have had a recent suicide attempt or serious thoughts will use either the new app or an older version for 3 months. The goal is to see if the app improves how often they use healthy coping strategies and stay connected to their safety plan.
