First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a short video-based therapy called BRIGHT to help head and neck cancer survivors who feel distressed about their appearance after treatment. 180 survivors will be randomly assigned to either BRIGHT (6 weekly video sessions with a psychologist) or a supportive attention control group. The main goal is to see if BRIGHT reduces body image distress more than the control.
