Glowing glasses may help sleep apnea patients stay awake
NCT ID NCT05917119
Summary
This study is testing whether bright light therapy glasses can help reduce daytime sleepiness in people with obstructive sleep apnea who still feel tired despite using their CPAP machines. Researchers will enroll 60 participants who will wear either active light therapy glasses or inactive placebo glasses for four weeks each, in random order. The goal is to see if the light therapy improves alertness and reduces sleepiness symptoms compared to the placebo treatment.
