Summary
This study tested a short therapy program called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for people living with HIV who drink alcohol at risky levels. The goal was to see if it could help them drink less, take their HIV medication more regularly, and improve their mood. 49 adults took part, and the program used mindfulness and personal values to address drinking and related mental health issues.
