New breathing program aims to ease lung cancer Patients' worst symptom

Summary

This study tests a short program called BREEZE+ to help people with advanced lung cancer cope with breathlessness. Participants will meet with a nurse for three sessions and use a digital app to learn skills to manage their symptoms. The goal is to see if this approach reduces breathlessness and related anxiety. The study plans to enroll 420 adults with advanced lung cancer who have at least moderate trouble breathing.
