Could a day of heavy breathing ease the nursing student crisis?
NCT ID NCT07106554
Summary
This study tested if a one-day workshop of Holotropic Breathwork—a guided, rapid breathing technique—could improve the mental health of nursing students. Up to 72 students were to try the method, which aims to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. The study was terminated early after enrolling only 2 participants, so no conclusions could be drawn about its effectiveness.
