First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding breathing training to standard pelvic floor therapy can reduce urine leakage in women 6 weeks to 6 months after childbirth. About 58 participants will either get usual care (pelvic floor rehab) or usual care plus 20-minute breathing sessions three times a week for 6 weeks. The goal is to see if breathing exercises improve bladder control and quality of life.
