New breathing exercises aim to ease the lingering burden of long COVID
NCT ID NCT05024474
Summary
This study tested a breathing exercise program for adults struggling with Long COVID symptoms like fatigue and shortness of breath. Researchers wanted to see if training the breathing muscles twice a day for eight weeks, combined with physical exercise, could improve breathing strength, walking ability, and overall quality of life. They compared this program to a group that only did the physical exercise to find out if the extra breathing training made a difference.
