First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a 6-week breathing exercise program (inspiratory muscle training) can improve diaphragm strength and reduce shortness of breath in people who had COVID-19 and still feel breathless. 18 adults with confirmed diaphragm weakness participated. The goal was to see if this simple training could help them breathe easier.
