New training could help lung transplant patients breathe easier

NCT ID NCT05309551

Summary

This study is testing whether a special breathing exercise program helps people recover after a lung transplant. Researchers will compare patients who do the breathing training along with standard physical therapy to those who only get standard therapy. The goal is to see if the training improves breathing strength, reduces feelings of breathlessness and fatigue, and helps patients get back to their daily activities.
