New breathing therapy aims to stop ICU patients from needing ventilator again
NCT ID NCT05423301
Summary
This study is testing if a special physical therapy program can help patients in intensive care avoid serious breathing problems after their breathing tube is removed. The program combines breathing exercises and early movement. It will compare this approach to standard care in 256 patients who are at high risk of needing the breathing tube put back in.
