New sensor could help spot hidden breathing trouble in kids with severe CP

NCT ID NCT05791877

Summary

This study is testing a new, non-invasive sensor to measure breathing in children with severe cerebral palsy (CP). The goal is to see if this easy-to-wear device can help doctors screen for breathing problems and see if there's a link between breathing issues and scoliosis (curvature of the spine) in these children. The study will enroll 250 children with severe CP who use wheelchairs.
