Summary
This study looks at a new way to decide how to close the belly wall during large hernia repair to prevent breathing problems after surgery. Doctors will use standard breathing measurements taken during the operation to guide their closure choice. The study will track how many of the 50 adult participants develop serious breathing issues within 72 hours after surgery.
