Can simple breathing exercises slow brain aging? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05602220
Summary
This study explored whether daily breathing exercises, combined with brain training games, could influence markers of brain health and learning ability in healthy adults aged 50-70. For 12 weeks, 91 participants did daily online brain training and followed specific breathing routines designed to either relax or increase alertness. Researchers measured blood markers linked to Alzheimer's risk and brain scans to see if the breathing exercises made a difference.
