Simple breathing exercise aims to ease Post-Surgery discomfort

NCT ID NCT06439121

Summary

This study tested whether a simple breathing exercise could help people feel better after weight loss surgery. Researchers taught 60 patients a specific 4-7-8 breathing pattern to use hourly after their operation. They then compared the pain and nausea levels of these patients to a group who received only standard care to see if the breathing technique made a difference.
