First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether breathing exercises using a small handheld device can strengthen breathing muscles and reduce shortness of breath in women receiving chemotherapy for early-stage breast cancer. About 58 participants will use the device daily and be monitored for changes in muscle strength, activity levels, and breathing difficulty. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to improve quality of life during treatment.
