Scientists sniff for daily diabetes clues in your breath
NCT ID NCT05984979
Summary
This study aims to understand if the chemicals in a person's breath change throughout the day and if those patterns differ between people without diabetes and those with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Researchers will recruit 60 people across these three groups to collect breath samples during the daytime. The goal is to gather basic knowledge that could one day lead to new, non-invasive ways to monitor diabetes.
