Simple breath test could revolutionize early cancer detection
NCT ID NCT07260734
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive breath test designed to detect stomach and esophageal cancer earlier. The test works by measuring tiny chemical changes in a person's breath, which may be increased by drinking a special nutrient mixture. Researchers aim to enroll 6000 people with symptoms that could indicate these cancers to see if the breath test can accurately identify the disease.
