NCT ID NCT06512350

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a breath test can detect breast cancer. Researchers will collect breath samples from over 5,000 women aged 40-74 who are already scheduled for a breast biopsy or MRI. They will use a special laser device to analyze the breath for unique chemical patterns that might signal cancer. The goal is to develop a non-invasive, quick screening tool.
