Can a new surgery method help women regain feeling after breast cancer?

NCT ID NCT07372339

Summary

This study aims to find out if a newer, less invasive endoscopic surgery helps women regain feeling in their breast skin better than the standard surgery after a nipple-sparing mastectomy and implant reconstruction for early-stage breast cancer. Researchers will randomly assign 170 women to receive either the standard or endoscopic surgery and then measure skin sensation, quality of life, and look for complications. The main goal is to see which method leads to better recovery of normal skin feeling six months after surgery.
