Which breast cancer surgery saves more sensation? new trial aims to find out

Summary

This study compares two surgical methods for early-stage breast cancer: conventional and endoscopic nipple-sparing mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. The goal is to see which approach better preserves breast skin sensation after surgery. About 170 women will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures and followed for up to a year to measure sensation, complications, and quality of life.
