New tissue matrix could improve breast reconstruction outcomes

Summary
This study is testing whether a new tissue matrix called ARTIA can improve breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Researchers will compare ARTIA against standard reconstruction methods in 783 women undergoing two-stage breast reconstruction. The study will measure safety, complications, and how satisfied women are with their reconstruction results.
