Scientists track hidden blood clues to improve breast reconstruction
NCT ID NCT07263347
Summary
This study aims to better understand how the body heals after breast reconstruction surgery. Researchers will measure inflammation and stress markers in the blood of 30 women undergoing a specific reconstruction procedure. By tracking these markers before and after surgery, they hope to identify patterns that could help predict and prevent healing complications in future patients.
