Summary

This study looks at the safety of a new material called acellular dermal matrix (ADM) used in breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomy for breast cancer. The new ADM is made using a special CO2 process, and researchers want to see if it causes fewer short-term problems than other ADMs. About 120 women aged 19 to 79 who are having implant-based breast reconstruction will take part.
