Which breast implant holds up better after radiation?
NCT ID NCT06747065
Summary
This study looked back at medical records of 1,000 women who had breast reconstruction after mastectomy and radiation. Researchers compared two types of implants to see which caused fewer problems like hardening around the implant or implant loss. The goal is to help doctors choose better implants for women needing reconstruction after breast cancer treatment.
