Summary

This study looked at whether giving mothers of very low birth weight babies extra support and financial help for breast pumping could increase the amount of mother's own milk their babies receive. The study included 362 mothers and their infants. The goal was to reduce racial disparities in breast milk feeding, especially for Black mothers.
