First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at two methods for removing breast cancer in women with early-stage breast cancer. One method removes extra tissue around the tumor routinely, while the other uses a special marker called Savi Scout to remove only the needed tissue. The goal is to see if the targeted method removes less healthy tissue without increasing the chance of leftover cancer cells. About 204 women will take part.
