New test aims to reduce uncertainty in breast biopsy results
NCT ID NCT07416500
Summary
This study tested whether analyzing specific genetic markers in breast tissue samples could help doctors more accurately diagnose lesions that are difficult to classify. Researchers examined tissue from 301 women with suspicious breast lesions to see if the molecular test results matched the final pathology diagnosis. The goal was to develop a better tool for distinguishing between benign and malignant breast conditions.
