Summary
This study aims to understand why some breast implants become hard and painful after reconstruction surgery following breast cancer treatment. Researchers will follow 300 women who receive implants immediately after mastectomy to identify factors that lead to this complication. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve future surgical techniques and patient outcomes.
