Summary

This study is testing a new imaging method called photoacoustic tomography. It combines light and sound waves to create pictures of breast tissue, with the goal of getting clearer images, especially for people with dense breasts. The study is enrolling 400 women, including those with breast cancer and healthy volunteers, to see if this method can identify features of cancer and track treatment response.
