New MRI technique reveals breast Fat's role in cancer

Summary
This study uses a new MRI method to measure the amount of saturated fat in breast tissue without needing a biopsy. Researchers will compare the fat composition in women with breast cancer versus those with benign (non-cancerous) breast lesions. The goal is to better understand how breast fat may influence cancer development. About 190 postmenopausal women will participate.
