Summary
This study tested different monthly payment amounts to help breast cancer patients cover the costs of participating in clinical trials. Researchers worked with 33 women already in a breast cancer trial to find what payment amount best reduced their financial stress. They started with $1,000 monthly payments and adjusted amounts based on patient feedback about what felt fair and helpful.
