Can cutting calories help radiation fight breast cancer?
NCT ID NCT04959474
Summary
This study is testing if reducing calorie intake by 25% while receiving a highly focused, intense form of radiation before surgery helps shrink breast tumors more than radiation alone. It will involve 80 women with early-stage breast cancer. The goal is to see if this combined approach leads to better tumor control and outcomes.
