New scan guides next treatment for tough breast cancers
NCT ID NCT07395336
Summary
This study is testing whether combining two hormone therapy drugs (elacestrant and exemestane) can better control advanced breast cancer that has worsened after initial treatment. It will enroll 26 patients whose cancer is still driven by hormones, as confirmed by a special PET scan. The main goal is to see if this combination can keep the cancer from growing for at least 6 months.
