New drug combo aims to outsmart tough breast cancers
NCT ID NCT04052555
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing whether adding an experimental drug called berzosertib to standard radiation therapy can better control breast cancer that has not responded well to chemotherapy. The main goal is to find the safest and most effective dose of the drug when given with radiation. Researchers hope this combination will kill cancer cells more effectively than radiation alone.
