New drug duo aims to shrink tough breast cancer before surgery

NCT ID NCT07466303

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, serplulimab and trastuzumab rezetecan, can effectively shrink tumors in patients with early-stage triple-negative breast cancer before they have surgery. The goal is to see if this non-chemotherapy approach can help patients achieve a complete response, potentially leading to less extensive surgery. The study will enroll about 84 female patients to evaluate the treatment's effectiveness and safety.
