Scientists hunt blood clues to predict which breast cancer patients will beat disease
NCT ID NCT07407244
Summary
This study aims to find biological markers that can predict which early breast cancer patients will respond well to chemotherapy given before surgery. Researchers will analyze tumor tissue and blood samples from 268 patients to look for immune system signals and cancer fragments in the blood. The goal is to better understand why some patients achieve complete cancer disappearance with treatment while others do not, which could help doctors personalize treatment plans in the future.
