Scientists probe link between cancer drugs and aging

NCT ID NCT05700006

Summary

This study aimed to gather preliminary information about how a common breast cancer hormone therapy might affect the aging process. Researchers enrolled 94 women, primarily aged 65 and older, who were starting this standard treatment. They collected blood and stool samples and survey answers over time to see if it was feasible to study connections between the therapy, aging markers, and gut bacteria.
