New program aims to ease the transition for breast cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT05609435

Summary

This study tested a new follow-up program called REASSURE for people who have finished treatment for early-stage, low-risk breast cancer. The goal was to see if the program helps survivors feel more prepared and confident in managing their health after cancer, while potentially reducing unnecessary doctor visits. About 104 participants in Wisconsin were randomly assigned to try the REASSURE program or receive their usual care for up to 18 months.
