New dye could make breast cancer surgery safer and simpler
NCT ID NCT07146295
Summary
This study aims to help hospitals switch to a new method for finding the first lymph node where breast cancer might spread. The new method uses a safe green dye and a special camera during surgery, instead of a radioactive tracer that requires an extra hospital visit. Researchers will guide several Dutch hospitals through the change and gather feedback from patients and doctors to make the process smooth and effective.
