New web tool aims to cut confusion for young women facing breast cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT06275126
Summary
This study is testing a web-based tool called CONSYDER, designed to help young women (ages 18-44) newly diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer make informed decisions about their surgery. The goal is to see if the tool reduces confusion and anxiety, improves knowledge, and helps patients communicate better with their surgeons. Researchers will enroll about 800 women across four cancer centers to evaluate the tool's impact.
