Summary

This French study aims to compare the costs and satisfaction levels between two methods used to mark breast tumors before surgery: a magnetic clip versus the traditional metal wire. It will follow 772 women undergoing breast-conserving surgery for up to six months, collecting data on medical expenses, surgical outcomes, and satisfaction from patients, radiologists, and surgeons. The study is observational, meaning doctors choose the marking method they normally use, and researchers simply track and compare the results.
