Could a simple supplement make chemo more tolerable?
NCT ID NCT05074290
Summary
This study is testing a nutritional supplement called Epidiferphane in people with breast cancer who are receiving taxane chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the supplement can reduce common and often severe side effects like nerve pain and anemia, which frequently force patients to reduce or delay their chemo doses. Researchers will also check if the supplement is safe, find the best dose, and see if it helps improve patients' quality of life and tumor response.
