First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether women with triple-negative or HER2-positive breast cancer who have a complete response to chemotherapy can safely skip sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB). SLNB can cause side effects like arm swelling and pain. The trial will track if skipping it leads to cancer coming back in the lymph nodes over 3 years. About 216 women will take part.
