First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study worked with healthcare workers, clinic staff, and community members in Soweto, South Africa, to figure out the best ways to offer breast cancer screening using simple physical exams in local clinics. The goal was to understand what makes it easy or hard to do these exams and to create a practical plan for making screening a routine part of care. About 80 people took part in group discussions and allowed researchers to observe clinic workflows.
