Double-Check screening aims to catch breast cancer earlier in High-Risk women

NCT ID NCT00989638

Summary

This study is testing whether combining mammograms with MRI scans can help detect breast cancer earlier in women at high genetic or family risk. Researchers want to see if this two-part screening approach finds small cancers better than mammograms alone, especially in younger women with dense breast tissue. The study also tracks participants' experiences and collects health data to improve future screening methods.
