Could a simple MRI scan reveal your breast cancer risk?

NCT ID NCT03400215

Summary

This study is investigating whether the amount of saturated fat in a woman's breast tissue is linked to breast cancer. Researchers are using a new, non-invasive MRI technique to measure fat types in the breasts of 190 postmenopausal women. The goal is to see if this measurement can help identify cancer risk or improve diagnosis, without needing a biopsy.
