First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether women with intermediate-risk breast cancer can safely avoid radiation therapy to the lymph nodes after surgery. About 3,100 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard radiation or no radiation. The goal is to see if skipping radiation leads to similar tumor-free survival rates while reducing side effects.
